Design
Design - from 'back of envelope' quick plans for simple projects to full blown designs for 'start from scratch' projects. Very often a customer has a good idea of what they want so the design process is making sure everyone is on the same wavelength. This removes the cost of design. For more elaborate designs we take a view as to whether it is a job for us or a more specialist design house. In any case, we can arrange what needs to be done. We know several local high quality specialist designers who we can recommend.
Construction
Construction - our reputation relies on our quality of work. The landscaping industry is a relatively small world and bad news travels fast. We only use high quality materials and build to standards gained from formal training (Merrist Wood NCH - Landscape Construction) and experience. If for some reason we are not happy to do a job we will appoint specialist sub contractors rather than 'have a go'.
Fencing
Fencing - experienced in all types of typical garden/estate fence construction.
Planting
Planting - from soil analysis to a planting plan to soil preparation we can create the perfect scheme according to customer taste and prevailing conditions. With access to numerous trade nurseries we can source plants at discount prices.
Living Willow Structures
Living willow structures - we specialize in, and thoroughly enjoy, creating imaginative living structures from the highly versatile plant, willow. Popular choices include domes, wigwams, tunnels and arches. Children love domes and tunnels, especially if they are just a little too small for grown ups.
We also make arbors, screens and 'fedges' (a fence/hedge structure), or half domes to provide shade around a bench perhaps.
Hedge and Tree Work
Hedge and tree work - hedge trimming and tree pruning is no problem for us. We are not tree surgeons but can recommend good specialists to do work we feel is beyond us, e.g. tree climbing.
Lawn Care and Restoration
Lawn care and restoration - lawns can be the proverbial money pit. Most people want a reasonable family type lawn with, preferably, more grass than weed. We can advise on whether a lawn is restorable or is it a start again job. With a modest budget and a bit of time it's amazing what improvements can be made with a well planned recovery programme. Of course, if it a start again job, we can quote for reseeding or turfing to create the bowling green of your dreams.
Garden Maintenance
Maintenance - equipped with a range of modern machinery and professional knowledge, we can help transform your garden, either as a one off blitz or a regular maintenance routine. We offer specialist gardening knowledge and are not just a bloke with a mower. We know our plants and what to do, when.
