About us

The business was set up in 2002 by Nick Phillips, who's career covers quite a bit of ground - starting on the family farm before a Royal Navy commission in the submarine service. Then a 5 year spell as a NFU group secretary before joining an internet start up company and then finally a desire to get back to the land took him back to landscaping. He has a formal Merrist Wood training (National Certificate in Horticulture, Distinction, in landscape construction) achieving top student award as well as some 8 years of practical experience and a professional, pragmatic attitude to his work.

All employees in the business have been employed on the basis of their personality and ability to do a good job. Our team is friendly, professional, courteous and respectful of other people's property.

Very many thanks to you and Leighton for everything. You have transformed the garden in a way I would never have thought possible. I am absolutely delighted and it will give me great pleasure for a very long time.
